S61C™

A flight-training marketplace for student pilots and instructors.

S61C connects student pilots with FAA-certificated flight and ground instructors. It handles finding an instructor, training requests and offers, messaging and payments, all in one place.

It also covers the rest of training: FAA books and manuals, saved materials, progress tracking, a Student Lounge and community forum, debriefs, and a CFI binder.

I helped build it as a web application developer at Orlando O Spencer I, Inc. (OOS Group). I worked on the MEAN-stack codebase with the dev team, building and maintaining features and tuning performance.

It was my first production software job, and the one that taught me how real teams ship.
